There is a wild cheetah hidden even in cats that are sprawled on the heating. When they wake up, you have to deal with fallen flower pots on your furniture. This is a big misunderstanding. A scratcher is not a challenge for a cat and therefore lounging will most likely win when it comes to choosing between these two activities. It will need a little bit of practice, your cat will probably not be sprinting at the beginning, but it will surely walk slowly with satisfaction. Wilder cat breeds such as Siamese cats, Bengal cats, Abyssinian cats or Sphynx cats will likely use the wheel so much that they will happily and calmly purr after exercise.
